July 2026
Governance of Blue Carbon Finance is an eLearning course I developed based on research on governance, policy, and capacity needs identified in the E-Blue pilot project (2025–2026), led by UN ESCAP and the Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (Landscape Alliance).
This course was developed mainly through Articulate Rise, with several interactive blocks developed in Articulate Storyline. I worked with several colleagues from Landscape Alliance and key subject matter experts from ESCAP and Blue Forests to ensure a balance between accurately reflecting the insights found from the E-Blue project and designing content that is accessible and understandable to multiple stakeholders.
I had a great time working in this project, as not only was it a return back to my initial non-profit roots, but it was also a great challenge for me to learn how to transform academic and technical content into memorable and engaging learning outputs.
This course is for sub-national stakeholders in Asia and the Pacific – local government, private sector, civil society, or community groups – focused on managing or supporting mangrove blue carbon value chains. The course is available to the public through the Landscape Academy.
